Wow. It’s been one hell of a journey for the past 7 months since the establishment of Epic Fit Meals Co. This of course do not include the 1 year of preparation prior. I finally have time to sit down and do some reflection and thinking on the journey thus far. This is as such our maiden entry for our spanking new blog, a place for our musings on not only Epic, but rather on everything concerning with food, the city and changes surrounding our lives.

Reflecting on our journey thus far, we’ve had our fair share of highs and lows. We were ecstatic when customers gave us good feedback which many did and most became our regulars. And there were times when you get the opposite. It happens. But, you can never fault us for not trying.

The same undying spirit and tenacity in doing the things we love to do is what Epic is all about, really. The blood and sweat, the passion, commitment and more often than not , the struggles it takes to produce beautiful food and deliver it on time to our customers is truly an awe-inspiring, epic feat. It was heartening then to see our efforts translate to many regular patrons coming back, making us part of their lives and not so much about the many kind and beautiful reviews we’ve had (not that we mind it altogether; you get the drift). People welcome us as part of their life! And, that they can go ahead and do what they love while at the same time not worrying about not eating well. Truly living an epic life…

As most of you would already have learnt, all our workers are locals. Most are new to the working world (read, fresh young ones). Well, kudos to them! They have learnt and grown tremendously, and are filling the big shoes that we have intended for them. Nothing beats the feeling of going hand-in-hand together and surmounting challenges after challenges. It builds character and creates lasting bonds between all of us.

Trust. A big word indeed. We seek to build trust and relationship with our customers. And we trust our team to rise to the occasion and meet all challenges confronting them.  We are growing fast and we definitely have a solid foundation which we can move forward with confidence.

Epic As Usual….
